Our Heritage
In 1987, Raul and Dora Zamora moved into a ranch house built in 1958 in Edinburg, TX and founded Rancho El Milagro. Raul, a public school bus driver and rancher, spent his days raising race horses, growing and selling haystacks, keeping chickens, and putting his grandkids to work at Rancho El Milagro. Dora, a registered hospital and prison nurse, watched over her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as they rode horses, chased chickens, played in the treehouse, and picked pecans, figs, and moras. Raul and Dora both passed away in 2024. Their daughters, Dora Maria and Gabriela, and their families spent 2025 renovating Rancho El Milagro as an indoor and outdoor event venue to share our family story and happy memories at Rancho El Milagro with the community.
